Lenovo OEM solutions group works across numerous verticals with some of the world’s largest brands around the globe, helping them bring their own products and solutions to market, built on a solid foundation of Lenovo technology.
Today we are seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager to lead our Global Verticals and Solutions marketing team, and to define & execute Lenovo OEM marketing strategy.

As the leader of the Global Verticals and Solutions team, you will oversee a team of five talented marketers, each leading a different area of Lenovo commercial business: healthcare, education, telco, AR/VR and smart collaboration solutions. We are looking for an inspiring leader with experience coaching and developing marketers, who is able to set a unified vision for the team and standardize the way that we collaborate with our business segments and regional marketing stakeholders.

As the owner of the OEM marketing business, you will need to understand the OEM business goals, translate that into clear marketing strategy with measurable KPIs, and execute marketing plans to increase awareness and consideration for Lenovo’s OEM products and services portfolio. You will work with cross-organizational teams, including Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Web, Training, Global Sales, and OEM business partners, to drive the development and execution of the marketing plan. The Senior Marketing Manager will also be responsible for presenting the Lenovo OEM solution story to a wide array of audiences internally and externally.

What you'll do:
• Lead the Global Verticals and Solutions marketing team, coaching teammates and strengthening relationships with all internal verticals and solutions stakeholders

• Define the global marketing strategy and budget for the OEM business model.
• Build effective relationships with Sales, Product Management, Business Intelligence, and OEM Partners to establish marketing priorities.
• Deliver targeted messaging and collateral to reach OEM Line of Business decision makers/ influencers.
• Enable the Lenovo Sellers and OEM Channel Partners to “lead with Lenovo” by providing appropriate OEM sales collateral, tools, promotions, and training.
• Collaborate with internal business segments to establish “One Lenovo,” a single OEM program message
• Develop and manage the quarterly marketing budget, expanding joint funding opportunities with Lenovo key partners.
• Work with the events manager to coordinate all OEM events and solutions launches (i.e., CES, InfoComm, ISE, etc.)
• Establish metrics to track opportunities, 360 feedback, and maximize the return from trade show events.
• Work intimately with GEO Marketing teams, communicating asset timelines, and customer wins, segment updates and program offers
• Build and track usage model across all assets to gauge the effectiveness and report overall program ROI
• Present quarterly to sales and marketing leadership on progress and outcomes
• Challenge the status quo. Introduce new, creative approaches to differentiate Lenovo and the OEM portfolio.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
• 8 -10 years experience and proven track record in executing successful B2B marketing programs, OEM preferred.

• 5 years people management experience, leading marketing teams
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to communicate technologies as customer value
• Strong technical acumen, with a history of taking complicated solutions and building simple, high impact marketing assets and programs.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
• Strong attention to detail and results-oriented
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers.
• Candidates must have strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time.

Preferred:
• MBA Degree
• 7+ years of Product Marketing or Marketing Management experience in IT related industry
• Deep understanding of OEM market, customers, processes, and programs.
• Understanding of common relationship sales motions and sales cycles highly preferred
• The ideal candidate would be a resourceful, self-motivated individual willing to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements when needed
