As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling the Lenovo High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution portfolio to clients, together with business partners as well as directly.

You will be accountable for revenue and profit objectives within your client set in Russia, SEE, EECA, Poland and CZ/SK, for developing and executing a sales pipeline of opportunities within your existing clients as well as for developing new prospects into clients in close collaboration with Lenovo’s sales teams in these countries.

You will be the focal point and representative for your clients for HPC and AI projects from a sales perspective. You will be supported by and working together with a strong and experienced team of HPC and AI commercial and technical experts and our various EMEA and global experts. 

You will be working with a world-wide team of HPC and AI experts to translate the objectives of your clients into Lenovo’s development plans.

In High Performance Computing and AI, you will be at the forefront of future technologies helping your clients solve highly compute and data intensive challenges in their industry and grand challenges of humankind.

These are your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Identify new HPC & AI opportunities by understanding your clients’ objectives, success factors, requirements and project plans in a strong team with your technical and commercial peers.

  • Progress opportunities by consulting your clients based on our HPC & AI solution portfolio, including future technologies and developments, and by working with key stakeholders and decision makers from your clients.

  • Teaming with your Lenovo colleagues and business partners to prepare and submit convincing high-quality proposals, working with your technical peers to turn their solution configurations into competitively priced & winning solutions.

  • Ensuring in your daily interactions with clients that we meet and exceed their expectations, e.g. by coordinating with our global supply chain team for on time deliveries and with technical support, if needed to resolve even complex issues swiftly

  • Nurturing your eco system with key OEMs such as AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA to team up in the market for exciting new developments and joint go-to-market activities

  • You will be working flexibly from the Lenovo office, or from your home office - by phone, by video conference and in personal meetings with your clients. Hence the location is flexible and advertised across different cities and countries.

We will help you getting up to speed by working with us and learning on the job in the team.


You will report to Sr. HPC Solutions Sales Manager  supporting customers in Russia, SEE, EECA, Poland and CZ/SK. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.

What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience and proven record of accomplishment in selling IT solutions, preferably including networking and/or storage to some solution complexity

  • Previous experience in the areas of HPC and AI is mandatory 

  • Fully fluent in English in a business context

  • Ability to build effective virtual teams and drive results via others in a complex cross-functional organization.

  • Knowledge & strong interest in IT technology, esp. in servers, storage, networking with keen focus on market trends and customer needs with analytical skills and financial acumen.

  • Good organizational skills, a self-starter who has experience in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, passion for start-up like environment.
