Description and Requirements
The ideal candidate would have availability to work Part-Time in the Spring of 2023, full-time during the summer, and Part-Time in the fall of 2023.
Local candidates to NC area are preferred.
Candidate must be from an HBCU or HSI college/university
We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Intern who will be responsible for conducting data analysis and reporting activities for our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing HR-related data and creating meaningful reports that will aid in decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess excellent data analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth data analysis on various HR-related metrics, including employee engagement, turnover, and retention rates, hiring metrics, and performance management data.
• Develop meaningful reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Excel, and other relevant software.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, and provide recommendations to the HR team based on insights from the analysis.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners to identify areas for improvement in HR processes and policies and provide data-driven insights to support these recommendations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR data tracking systems and dashboards to monitor key HR metrics.
• Participate in the design and development of surveys and other data collection methods to gather employee feedback and data.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain data and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Student currently attends an HBCU or HSI is preferred.
- Local candidate to NC area is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to work with large datasets.
• Knowledge of HR processes and policies is a plus.
