Description and Requirements

Lenovo ISG 4P Manager job role, as the name states, would be responsible for the Product function owning the launch of new Lenovo products in the region, running programs to position and promote the portfolio, managing product Prices etc.. This profile will require to set up a consistent and regular process on competitive reviews, PFVs and other pricing related work. Role is important to take proactive approach in the market on product positioning and pricing as well as take any market challenge head-on with periodic and more organized strategic and data processes. Job role would require close working with marketing and finance teams to create various product campaigns, sales plays and programs, budgeting and managing the portfolio profitability.

This role will require to enable faster roll out of new MTMs as well as quick action on finding economical alternatives in case of price sensitive offerings. Hence making our product offerings competitive and compulsive for partners and customers. Role will not be limited to Server alone but will be engaged with complete ISG offering including but not limited to Storage, HCI, Services etc.

Applicant -

  • Should have a minimum work experience of 7+ years in Server/storage market
  • Should understand the Server and Storage product portfolio
  • Should have server and storage market knowledge
  • Should have adequate knowledge on successfully running product related campaigns and programs
  • Should be well versed with use of Excel, Powerpoint and other analytical tools used for data analysis and representation
  • Should be self motivated to crack the code with market intelligence and analysis of data to present various market trends (Product based/Vendor based/territory based etc.)
  • Should be well versed with financial terms used on Product business modelling and should be able to work with cost break ups and other aspects of product costing
  • Will be working with mulitple internal teams and will have to present data hence good communication, presentation skills would give an edge
  • knowing the server and storage channel partner ecosystem is a must and an important aspect of this role.
