Position Description:

The Channel Support ISR (Inside Sales Representive) is responsible for onboarding, developing and managing of new resellers and partners for Lenovo ISG, enablement of new partners and promotion to higher levels of Lenovo ISG channel programs and promos, as well as reactivation and re-engaging partners that have slowed transactions, within and assigned territory. You will be reporting to the Inside Sales Manager.

This role needs an individual who is able to work as a team, is motivated, able to handle a fast-moving environment, responsive, proactive, ambitious and excels in relationship management with key stakeholders including executives, sales, technical and marketing teams.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

As a distribution account manager, you will be responsible for:

Onboard, develop and manage a set of business partners assigned within a set region;

Positioning Lenovo ISG benefits for partners and gathering partner account profile;

Driving Partner Portal & Partner education adoption by partners;

Building and maintaining lasting relationships with key roles within a partner account;

Discovering partner’s pipeline and keeping it updated from partner side;

Keeping partners up-to-date on Lenovo ISG news and promos;

Checking compliance with Partner Program requirements and drive upgrade of partner level;

Developing a solid working knowledge of Lenovo ISG products and the benefits they provide to potential and existing partners;

Providing support to partners including help with licensing and technical issues related to Lenovo ISG products;

Weekly forecast

Manage End to End assigned SMB/MM Leads with Business Partner

Certification Management – Tracking and Invite Business Partners

Tracking of Target Achievement and Clip levels and proactive Alignment with Business Partners

Main point of contact for Business Partners – proactive and reactive communication in local language

Channel Delivery Issues with deep interlock with distributors and local SMB Manager and Distribution account manager

Proactively involve the local Technical Sales and LETS Team when needed

Participate in local Channel Events in assigned market to meet partners face to face.

Updating and maintaining partner accounts in CRM system.

This job requires good communication skills, especially verbally. You should be a good, smooth, calm, enthusiastic talker able to learn quickly features and benefits of the products and a persistent attitude will make you the perfect candidate.

Position Requirements:

5+ years experience in selling IT hardware and software brands in a channel model;

Bachelor’s Degree preferred (a combination of education and experience will be considered);

Knowhow on how to approach different types of persons in order to establish positive and lasting relationships;

Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter;

Ability to adapt to changes in role and responsibilities;

Understands channel model, mindset, industry, and market;

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills; excellent electronic correspondence skills, with knowledge of basic business research tools;

Excellent proficiency in both English and Spanish languages

Portuguese – nice to have

Knowledge of Hardware industry and the ability to relay information to the partner community;

Proficiency in MSOffice based automation tools (Excel, Outlook, etc)
