Description and Requirements

This is a great opportunity to join Lenovo’s North American Solutions Sales organization and apply your expertise, sales acumen and leadership skills in a role that has high visibility and impact. This is a quota-carrying senior sales role and the candidate will be driving the sales of Lenovo’s Data Center solutions in the Converged, Hyper-converged, and Software Defined Data Center solutions space.

The ISG Channel Sales Director will lead Lenovo Enterprise Solution Channel Sales teams dedicated to a core DC partner community. The leader will be focused on driving revenue generation, accurate planning, Go-to-Market coordination, operational metrics, and cross functional alignments. This position will be responsible for leading a sales team to develop and execute on an aggressive customer retention, development and acquisition strategy.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to form and develop high level relationships with large technology customers throughout the business partner community. This position is responsible for overall strategy, selection and development of account managers, creative thinking and problem solving, and providing thought leadership with our business partner community. Driving team performance is a key responsibility of this role. The successful candidate will have proven ability to maximize team performance using a structured business management system to run a high performance sales organization.

Minimum Requirements:

* 7+ years of successful technology sales is required Software defined and Hardware industry background is preferred.
* 5+ years of management experience (leading sales managers/sales professionals is an asset)
* Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience required 30%+ travel

Preferred Requirements:

* Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements
* Superior customer retention, development, and acquisition skills
* Proven ability to grow a sales territory
* Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
* Strong knowledge and established relationships with large channel partners across the US
* Ability to attract proven sales leaders and build a high performing sales team
