Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Telco who will be responsible for driving worldwide revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Lenovo’s largest and most strategic Telecommunication and System Integration accounts. You will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior level engagements to drive the “Sell With” motion. You will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for an effective roll-out. As a Global Business Development Manager you will be also engaged with extended teams in responding to “Sell With” RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, and resource planning. This is a client facing sales role requiring industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business, and expertise working large deals at the C level within the Telco vertical. 


Your responsibilities will include the following: 
• Develop company’s business in the Telco vertical by leading and overseeing the expansion into several new, profitable business streams across Lenovo's Devices and Infrastructure Solutions product lines. 
• Ensure business growth in the Telco vertical are in accordance with the company’s strategy. 
• Build and maintain key relationships within a partnership strategy to support the company’s growth plan in the Telecom/SI vertical. 
• Collaborate with Senior level GAM to execute account strategy.  

In this role you will report to Vice President Global Channels.

 Position Requirements: 
• 5 - 10 years' sales experience in the Devices/Networking/Data Centers space. 
• Required experience in large deals and quota carrying activities. 
• Telco background.
• Experience managing multiple IT activity types. 
• Technical background (solid problem solving skills). 
• Outstanding Customer engagement skills - ability to engage with top customers from around the globe. 
• Results oriented self-starter with strong communication and leadership skills. 
• Proven history showing responsiveness to customer needs/requests.
