We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our team as the technical leader managing our relationship with our top Sports Industry Partners.

Position Overview:
The Technical Solutions Architect for the Sports Vertical will play a crucial role in designing and delivering tailored IT solutions to meet the unique needs of clients within the sports industry. We have several sports partners, including FIFA, F1 and several others.  This role requires a deep understanding of both the sports domain and advanced IT architecture, enabling the successful candidate to craft innovative and scalable solutions that enhance the performance, operations, and fan engagement of sports organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design and development of comprehensive IT solutions tailored to the sports industry, focusing on complex solutions and system integration. Ensure that all solutions are scalable, innovative, and aligned with client needs.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their specific business challenges, goals, and technology needs. Act as a trusted advisor, translating these requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide leadership in technical capability, guiding the team and ensuring that solutions leverage cutting-edge technologies, including AI/ML, Generative AI, and cloud computing. Lead by example with deep technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, engineering, and product development, to ensure that solutions meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in both the sports industry and IT architecture. Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and practices to enhance solution offerings.
  • Depth in Sports Vertical: Develop and demonstrate deep expertise in at least one sports vertical, allowing you to craft solutions that resonate with industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Ability to Learn: Continuously update your knowledge and skills, staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends. Adapt and grow with the changing needs of the sports industry.
  • Solutioning Capability: Drive the solutioning process, ensuring that all solutions are well-architected, meet compliance and standards, and deliver measurable value to clients.
  • Proposal Development: Contribute to the creation of proposals, including solution descriptions, architecture diagrams, cost estimates, and timelines. Present solutions to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all solutions adhere to industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements, particularly in the sports industry.
  • Client Support: Provide ongoing technical support to clients, helping them to optimize and evolve their IT solutions in response to changing business needs.

Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of experience working in the Sports industry as a technology enablement leader.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in solution design and delivery, including complex solutions and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of sports technology, including fan engagement systems, sports analytics, mobile apps, and venue technology.
  • Expertise in cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI as they relate to sports technology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
