Description and Requirements

Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is a smart infrastructure solutions provider to organizations of all sizes. We are looking for an eager and passionate candidate to join our organization and help us fulfill our mission to be the most trusted data center partner: Empowering customers’ Intelligent Transformation, and solving humanity’s greatest challenges is what we do best. The Interconnector Engineer is essential to our data center business, supporting cable and connector design on our AI/server systems. 


Who You Are:

  • Currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university

  • Have an excellent "can do" attitude and ability to apply critical thinking skills

  • Willing to take challenges and think outside of the box

  • Open-minded and curious to learn more, a self starter and learner

  • Experience in hardware debugging, defect tracking, or quality testing is preferred 

  • Great at communicating with others and building presentations for a dynamic team environment 

  • Excellent problem solving & effective conflict resolution skills.

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus 



Responsibilities: 
  • Providing assistance to cross functional team members for new generation cable design

  • Analyze weekly defect tracking reports and document delivery tracking for data centers

  • Work with engineering and supplier to resolve all qualification, manufacturing, and field related component failures and manage suppliers 8D deployment

  • Work with senior engineers on cable and connector design

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration needs and define project requirements.
