The Industry Solutions (ISU) Services and Delivery team believes that the world has not yet realized the potential value of Smart Buildings, Retail, Education, and Manufacturing at scale, and sees a great opportunity for Lenovo to seize a leadership position in the markets we play in. Our vision is to make the world work better with smarter solutions, and our mission is to enable and lead the global adoption of Lenovo’s Industry Solutions.


The Industry Solutions Services team has an opportunity for a Global Services & Delivery Manager. This role, reporting to the Services and Delivery Director, will build and shape the worldwide ISU Services network focused on activities related to deploying, monitoring, and managing operations for our Lenovo IoT solutions. The candidate should have extensive experience in delivering implementation and installation services for integrated IT solutions, services vendor management, capability enablement, and project management. The candidate should possess business acumen, exemplary work Ethics, and excellent people skills. The Delivery and Operations Manager will have the opportunity to design, build and manage the worldwide team to accelerate ISUs growth.


  • Design and implement service delivery processes for integrated customer solution installations/implementations
  • Execute proper vendor management and KPI metrics, including developing and leveraging dashboards
  • Understand, manage and drive Services KPIs
  • Operations management planning and execution
  • Monitor and control Service operational costs
  • Oversee daily operations and drive performance improvements both internally and with 3rd party partners 
  • Interact with other ISU functions to align solution capacities with customer needs
  • Participate in customer meetings to deliver operational reports and ensure client satisfaction
  • Coordinate ISU customer projects, including any software and systems integration
  • Implement Services and Delivery strategies, plans, processes, and procedures
  • Manage projects related to Delivery and Services

Basic Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a business or technical field; a post-graduate degree is a plus.
  • +7 years of experience leading vendor management and operations – specifically related to implementation services; specific IoT delivery experience highly desired
  • +10 years of experience enabling service delivery networks (Implementation, Call Center, Parts, Service Centers and Logistics)
  • Experience in platform integrations such as: Azure, AWS, Google and O365 among others
  • Demonstrated success in creating true partnerships and points of control with outsourced vendors providing deployment and management of onsite deployment and services
  • Adept at managing budgets to control expenses and achieve financial goals for service metrics
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in a matrixed, global environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex problems to customers and stakeholders of all levels, across multiple functions
  • A strong bias toward action and performance; proven success in delivering against expectations and objectives, and ability to define a path forward in an ambiguous entrepreneurial environment
  • Acts collaboratively with ISU team members and within Lenovo
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment and across organizational and geographies
  • Global experience: demonstrates the ability to work with and across cultures
  • Understands the value that diversity brings to their team and the broader organization; strives to build a diverse, inclusive team culture.
