Lenovo is seeking a Diversity Innovation Project Manager to join the Product Diversity Office team to enhance and increase our innovative capabilities by bringing the voice of our customers with different abilities and physical attributes into the design process.
DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibility is to develop, strategize, and plan new interventions that will drive the development of new products as a part of the Diversity by Design process across Lenovo.
Other duties include:
- Lead the development of products and feature concepts from ideation through user research, prototyping, and communication to stakeholders
- Lead the development of a new diversity innovation process to drive repeatable results in our ongoing effort to improve accessibility and inclusion with our products
- Drive empathy for our diverse users by bringing their story to life and being a champion for innovation on their behalf
- Use project management methodologies to scope project phases, define key deliverables, build project plans, and execute against outcomes in a dynamic, adaptive organization across multiple teams while working towards tight deadlines
- Understand technical requirements to bring the proposed solution to life
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal stakeholders including leaders and external audiences and learners
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years professional experience in project management within creative industries
- Experience in human-centric design thinking and iterative product design
- Language proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English

- Experience working in a global company
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate human insights into commercial outcomes
- Experience and demonstrable ability to work with people of different abilities and diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all channels
- Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
