The Inside Account Rep teams with Field Account Sales and Field Channel Sales to sell product(s) to assigned end user accounts or assigned Business Partners (Channel Partners). Focus is on relationship sales to retain, develop and acquire accounts.
Responsibilities
- Understand client and business partners’ business; apply knowledge of Lenovo products and/or solutions to help clients and business partners meet their business needs and objectives.
- Account management: identify business opportunities, achieve assigned financial/non-financial goals, and increase ‘wallet share’ of assigned clients and business partners.
- Analyze problems with some supervision; work closely with other functions or team members to develop solutions.
- Develop relationships - either with some guidance or working independently - which promote understanding of clients and business partners’ business objective and goals.
- Attend negotiation sessions, involving other functional teams and clients in order to attain positive results.
- BA Degree in Administration, Marketing, or similar careers.
- 1-3 years relevant experience in account management (corporate or channel sales in HW Technology industry).
- Must have worked in a quota-carrying sales environment.
- Knowledge of Dynamics / SAP is a plus.
- Fluent English is desirable.
- Proven ability to penetrate, acquire and transition sales opportunities.
- Client orientation and highly developed win-win mentality.
- Negotiation skills are an essential requirement
- Excellent communication skills (persuasive sales communication is a must)
- Strong organizational and planning skills and a working knowledge of the IT Industry.
- Analytical Thinking and problem resolution oriented.
- High accountability and self-motivation (able to work independently with little supervision).
