Description and Requirements
We are seeking enthusiastic, career-minded professionals to join our Data Center Group Inside Channel Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be aggressive, goal-oriented, articulate and possess sound phone skills. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have the ability to speak French/English. A strong personality with the desire to reach high performance goals is a must.
What You’ll Do:
This role will work with our Channel Partners to develop business across acquisition accounts in either the public sector, large enterprise or mid-market segment. This position will be responsible for uncovering opportunities, selling the benefits of the full Lenovo Data Center Product Portfolio and selling against the competition. The Inside Channel Account Representative will assist the Channel Partner with configurations and quotations for enterprise sales solutions, as well as provide proactive follow-up, product information and overall support via the telephone. They will also work with the Channel Programs & 4P team to drive initiatives including weekly forecast and opportunity management.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Identify/manage resellers and sell to them Lenovo products within a specific segment and sell benefits of the full catalog of Lenovo products against the competition primarily over the telephone.
• Generate demand for Lenovo products with targeted resellers.
• Drive targeted marketing activities together with the resellers in order to increase the sales and achieve the targets set.
• Provide proactive follow-up, product information and overall support to resellers via the telephone and e-mails etc.
• Manage weekly sales forecasts, use activity reporting and opportunity management via internal Lenovo tools.
• Responsible for the overall satisfaction of specific resellers.
• Manage and maintain account relationships through various level engagements. Aid in developing and executing strategies for exponential growth of Lenovo's business with profit in the Business partners.
• Engage where necessary with extended teams in responding to Business Partners needs for sales. Track the business with the rest of the sales teams in Enterprise, product transition plans, and marketing.
Basic Requirements:
- 1+ years of professional inside and outside sales experience in a technology field or IT Industry is required.
- Must have experience in a quota carrying sales position before.
Preferred Requirements
- Ability to penetrate, acquire and transition opportunities.
- Working knowledge of IT industry, experience with computer-based programs, ability to learn and present hardware portfolio
- Excellent verbal/ written communication skills
- Fully Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written) a plus but not required
