What You’ll Do

This retention and development and/or acquisition focused Inside Sales Representative will work with Public Sector field partners and end-user customers within the US to drive opportunities and education around Lenovo's portfolio offerings in the Gov, HiEd or K12 segments.

Inside Sales Representatives will support configuration discussions and provide solutions as well as proactive follow-up, product information and overall account support via the telephone. This role will also work within the segments initiatives including weekly forecast and opportunity management, outbound calls and weekly program follow ups with the partners.


Key Responsibilities:

• Have knowledge of the IT industry, experience with computer based programs, and the ability to learn and present hardware portfolios to customers.

• Build complex sales strategy to ensure both long and short term goals, objects and quotas are met.

• Develop and cultivate client relationships with both new and existing customers while achieving profit and revenue objectives. • Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service. • Ensure that products, services and solutions recommended to clients will fulfill their needs.

• Work within corporate initiatives including weekly forecast and opportunity management to reach high performance goals.

This position will include work from our Morrisville campus (at least one day per week) as well as work from home each week.

Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of professional inside or outside sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or in a similar field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience in a technology field or IT industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal/ written communication skills are required.
  • Establish relationships quickly and navigate through multiple resources withing the organization.
