Description and Requirements

B5: Inside Sales Representative - B2B

Inside Sales Representative (B2B Solutions - Smartphones & Services Sales) will identify new business opportunities through the B2B Sales Channels in order to generate sales/revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.

This role involves careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the B2B business, position or reputation in some way, working often across all areas of the business.

Types of business management

Business development can be applied with a specific focus on Motorola B2B business, such as:

  • Large Accounts: (e.g. Logistics, Security, Utilities, Consumer Goods, Industry construction, education, finance, healthcare, IT, manufacturing , telecommunications, etc.).
  • Distributors & VAR (Value Added Resellers)
  • SMB (Small Medium Business).
  • Public Sector - Government

Responsibilities

  • This Inside Sales role is more B2B hunter/farmer SALES orientated.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities (B2B Solutions - Smartphones & Services Sales)  - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets;
  • Good expression and oral presentation for presentations, training and meeting presentations with corporate clients and video calls attendance.
  • Achievement of Goals of the Corporate Channel: Sale of Smartphones and Value Added Services.
  • Control/Governance of sales processes via internal system, Microsoft Dynamics or Office package.
  • Prospecting and maintaining corporate partnerships to increase channel sales.

Skills

Persistence and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed sales targets;

  • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, and presentation skills
  • Excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates;
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients;
  • IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets, project management and organizational skills, the ability to analyze sales figures and write reports;
  • team working skills and a collaborative approach to work, a flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience ideally in B2B Sales.
  • Proficient in English desired.
  • Higher education in administration, engineering, IT, marketing, advertising or similar areas.

Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, etc
