Reports to 1. Internal Sales Manager (Reporting Manager) 2. Sales Director (Reviewing Manager)
Key responsibilities:
- Work alongside a Field based Account Manager to manage a territory of end customers and maximize Lenovo business with them
- Acquiring new lines of business by pro-active prospecting and generate appointments for the Field based Account Manager and sales specialists.
- Generating business pipeline
- Collaborating with Lenovo reseller partners in demand generation and account management activities
- Supporting business closure, territory reviews and weekly forecasts
- Familiarisation with the Lenovo range to enable Solution selling
- Account management
- Resolving enquiries and issues to promote a good Customer Experience (CX)
Person Specification requirements:
- A level/Graduate who has chosen Sales as a career
- 2+ years of (proven) experience in a sales role, ideally in a telesales environment or IT industry
- Advanced IT sector knowledge
- A personable team player with strong commercial skills and numeracy.
- Excellent communication skills, building friendly rapport with customers and business partners
- Understanding customer needs
- Ability to manage their own Sales territory in a quantitative and qualitative way in order to reach targets
- Experience with owning the end-to-end sales cycle and channel sales
- Good time management, able to chase multiple tasks at a fast pace
- Candidate must have permit to work in UK&I
