Description and Requirements
Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is a smart infrastructure solutions provider to organizations of all sizes. We are looking for eager and passionate recent college graduate to join our organization and help us fulfill our mission to be the most trusted data center partner: Empowering customers’ Intelligent Transformation, and solving humanity’s greatest challenges.
The business group Communication Service Provider (CommSP) develops the best-in-class solutions for our telecom customer. This role will report to the Business Development Director and will support customer Demos and Lab Setups Globally. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings to develop E2E solutions in the CommSP Lab. The target start date will be either January 2024 or Spring 2024. The role is based out of Morrisville, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements from our partners and customers
- Document the solution designs
- Build out E2E solutions in the CommSP Labs
- Test the solutions and make appropriate recommendations on changes and improvements
- Provide detailed feedback to the rest of our solution architect team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Similar
- Hands-on experience with Virtualization and Container technologies (VMWare, KVM, RHEL Containers, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.)
- 1 year experience with technologies such as: Networking, Cloud orchestration tools, server, storage & network virtualization, and datacenter/edge computing operations and virtualization
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MBA or similar
