Description and Requirements
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Key Account Manager for our R+D Enterprise Accounts in North Germany (Hamburg/Hannover). The Key Account Manager will work collaboratively with the Inside Account Manager and further Business Units to manage all strategic (pre)sales activities for a given set of accounts.
This position proactively works with the most senior decision makers at our clients and internal stakeholders to provide support of sales opportunities and ensures the appropriate portfolio of Lenovo products, services and software is solutioned to solve our client’s most complex business problems.
The Key Account Manager is the opportunity owner and the relationship manager both externally and internally. The successful candidate is a leader: mapping the client strategy with the Lenovo portfolio, gaining and sharing expertise of vertical markets along with a deep understanding of the technologies that will generate future, tangible opportunities for Lenovo.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and own the total customer relationship; responsible for revenue, share of wallet expansion, customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts
- Strong business acumen and ability to link customer needs and business issues to solutions
- Understand emerging technologies and products and Lenovo's strategies to address them
- Set and manage expectations around solutions, internally and externally
- Collaborate with customers, sales team, extended Lenovo teams and external partners
- Identify complex problems; work with other functions and/or team members to support the design and implementation of solutions which address those problems
- Maintain executive relationships, proof through opportunity generation and reflect through professional account planning
- Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
- Work at all levels within an organisation to deliver against a quarterly sales incentive target
- Report on sales activity and update in Dynamics 365
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience aiding in sales
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the scope of Lenovo’s products and services, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
- Broad existing business network (partner / end customer) which will be relevant for efficient ramp up
- Previous experience in a technology field or IT Industry is highly preferred; proven successful sales experience and contracts knowledge
- Understanding of sales processes, techniques and tools and use them appropriately
- Previous experience with Dynamics 365, combined with strong Microsoft application skills
- Can differentiate offerings and articulate the Lenovo value proposition against the competition, to ensure the best potential to win in sales opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English language
- Entrepreneurial personality, customer focused, and able to deliver exceptional solutions well beyond customer expectations
- Prioritise customer focus, able to work under pressure of senior clients
- Able to align people and influence decision making, effectively working in a matrix
- Collaborative working style and high commitment to get the job done
