Description and Requirements

Position Description:

Lenovo is looking for a Latin America Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Software Sales Leader & Alliance Manager to join our team. This position can be located in Argentina, Colombia or Mexico.


An LA ISG Software Sales Leader & Alliance Manager for Lenovo will be responsible for:
 

  • Manage the relationship with a set of key Software and Hardware Vendor Alliances at an LA level, engaging these partners to develop Lenovo data center solutions. Increase the long-term revenue of these Alliance thought Lenovo.
     
  • Be accountable for the LA software revenue generated by these alliance partners. Manage the sales reporting to the LA Geo and WW Software Segment leaders.
  • Support the Bid Deals development and optimization aligning the best product offering and cost from the partners to be included in the Lenovo proposals.
  • Support business development activities such skills improvement of sales teams, demand generation activities and customer opportunities identification in coordination with the Product, Marketing Managers as well as the Sales teams.
  • Develop and implement a global plan for the alliance partner in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization with focus on: Big Deals and Run Rate business at a country level

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Regional Software Sales Manager or Software Alliance Management with a strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solutions and Sales background, with experience in Enterprise Products
  • People Management and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time
  • Have a diploma/degree in Sales, Software Architecture, Business Administration or related field.
  • English language Skills
  • MS Excel & Dynamics knowledge to be able to manage pipeline/forecasting reporting.
