Description and Requirements

This is a critical support function for the Lenovo Global Financial Solutions (LGFS) Sales Team with a primary focus on ensuring efficient sales cycles and high levels of customer satisfaction. They are commercially astute and can act as a trusted advisor (or source of information) to the LGFS sales team on how to how to structure aspects of a deal.

Your Responsibilities will be:  

1.) Supporting designated LGFS geo sales team in driving sales
  • working with the sales team to understand customer requirements and preparing structures (with SME support) that meet those requirements. This may involve global deals, sale and leaseback transactions, flex or other structured lease transactions
  • pulling together quotes and assisting in the preparation of customer proposals
  • supporting or driving as required the execution of contracts and/or agreements with the customer
  • supporting the sales team in pipeline maintenance via timely and accurate data

2.) Transitioning new customers originated by your sales team in cooperation with Services Transition Team and LGFS Lease Admin Team

3.) Solving problems for any LGFS related customer satisfaction issues

  • Working with the customer and internal teams to diagnose and remediate the issue
  • Working with internal teams to ensure that issues are remediated such that the issue does not reoccur

4.) Executing sales enablement processes, training, and collateral as required


As an experienced Sales Support person, you should be familiar with the characteristics of leasing transactions and the sales process to close those deals. You need to have an eye for detail and be able to understand the needs of the sales team and the customer and facilitate the satisfaction of those needs. You are a comfortable communicator that can engage via email and verbally with varied stakeholders to get stuff done. You also understand commercials and commercial analysis and will offer opinions based on data.

  • Experience in an equipment Leasing business and knowledge of key concepts
  • Strong excel skills and an ability to form opinions on commercial outcomes based on analysis of data
  • Ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders to facilitate outcomes in a diverse organization
  • Proven track record in support a leasing or ‘aaS’ sales process for large clients
  • Qualification in accounting, finance, or business preferred
