Description and Requirements

Your Responsibilities Include:
            * Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
            * Investigating problem areas and following the software development lifecycle
            * Participating in the development of UXUI experiences and web-based application enhancements.  And following the established build, code and branch management, and software process controls. 
            * Providing ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
            * Collaborating cross-functionally with business stakeholders, project manager, designer, QA, business users, and other engineers to achieve efficient and effective solutions.
            * Solving problems by debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.

 * Rising senior or junior at a participating NC HBCU (Historically Black Colleges & University) 
 * Minimum 2.8 GPA
 * Undergraduate student

• Entry-level experience in a language such as Java
• Demonstrable coding skills
• Experience with large-scale online eCommerce applications is a plus
• Ability to read and review other developer’s code
• Skilled in the ability to clearly communicate in both written and oral forms
• Advanced knowledge of software engineering practices including Agile processes
• Currently enrolled and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
• GPA: 3.0 or above
