Description and Requirements
Position Description:
1. Manage Hardware/Software/Services sourcing team.
2. Set BMS to manage team’s purchasing operations to ensure to achieve team KPIs.
3. Keenly identify cost savings opportunities & spending optimizations and coach the team members to achieve target.
4. Consistently implement data digitalization.
5. Guide the team on Suppliers Performance Management.
6. With sense of industry knowledge and trend, coach team members to study.
7. Maintain network with cross functional teams as well as escalations & help needed.
8. Develop training/coaching plan according to employee's specialty, including teamlead and key members.
1. Expert in Commodity / Category mgmt., policies and procedures for several related areas and their dependencies.
1) Full knowledge of a business functions processes and tools
2) Ability to identify pain points for E2E business team
3) Full knowledge of system logic and could contribute to the optimization
4) Good knowledge of program management
Position Requirements:
1. Strong capability to select qualified suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure price competitiveness.
2. Implement long term category sourcing strategy, capacity management and global supply allocation.
3. Could interact with BU / Budget owner to drive product commodity source plans / spend management for indirect spend.
4. Optimize current business processes and develop/implement project plans to support process improvement initiatives.
5. Strong cross function communication & Negotiation skills.
6. Analyze complex problems and provide solution guidance.
7. Make decisions while collaborating with multiple teams across functions.
8. Understand the impacts and risk cross function.
9. Intermediate negotiation skills.
10. Intermediate analytic skills.
11. Resource planning.
12. Budgeting.
13. Participate in and execute company HR processes with team (including P3, Rewards, OHRP, Lenovo Listen etc.).
14. Team development:
1) Create opportunities for team members in line with development direction and company requirements
2) Be a partner with team members on career path planning
3) Help build team member skills (e.g., solution, collaboration, technology)
Work Experience:
1. 5-7 years in related business areas.
Language Requirements:
1. Fluent oral and written communication skills both in English and Cantonese.
