Description and Requirements

Are you the right person helping our Channel and Distribution partners doing even more successful business with the full power of Lenovo’s solutions across or broad product portfolio?  

As our new Channel Sales Enablement Specialist, you will work closely with the German and Austrian Distribution and Channel Sales team to bring our partners to the next level of sales success, combining the power of Lenovo’s PC and Data Center Business Unit.  

In this role you will:  

  • Take over the leadership of the technical education planning for both Data Center and PC related topics for the Channel Sales Force.  

  • Lead the development and execution of market tailored training and certification programs for our channel and distribution partners.  

  • Plan and manage channel enablement events and workshops: planning the content and agenda; identifying and involve internal experts as speakers to make the event a success; coordinate invitations and participation management; organizing the logistics of the event itself 

  • track enabling activities and outcomes, and will plan fine-tuning accordingly 

  • Be in the driver seat to position incubation topics and raise awareness in the channel landscape for these business opportunities.  

  • Work closely with the Channel Account Managers to first identify and qualify and subsequently onboard new partners and help them being successful with Lenovo.  

  • maintain deliverables, teams channels, newsletters, alerts communications, websites 

Your interactions: 

  • You will be reporting to the Sales Manager Distribution Data Center.  

  • To be successful in the above-described responsibilities, you are aligning very closely with the Lenovo Marketing and international Channel Enablement teams, but you also work together with external contacts like the sales and marketing teams of our distribution partners and event agencies.  


  • Bachelor degree in marketing, business, engineering or comparable subject 

  • Previous experience in sales enablement or a sales role

  • Ideally you bring along with yourself experience and network in the German/Austrian Channel landscape 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills effectively both oral and written and both: German and English 

  • Sound experiences in Event Management paired with strong project management approach; 

  • Strength in working with different IT tools yourself but also a strength to share your experience and enable others 

  • Solid planning, analytical and soft skills, being able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment. 

  • Availability to travel to a certain degree (depending on events)
