Description and Requirements

Primary activity will be supporting the Canadian Fulfillment Center with our current 3PL. 

  • Logistics Analyst applicant must demonstrate in depth knowledge of multi modal transportation/logistics for domestic and international scopes (i.e. Air, Ocean, Truck & Small Parcel). 
  • Strong academic achievement four-year degree preferred.  
  • Understands end-to-end supply chain concepts and ability to apply in daily tasks. 
  • Position requires oversight and management of all phases of shipment planning and hands on process management of in-transit freight.  
  • Ability to manage network providers and drive improvements to their performance. 
  • Candidate will be required to work cross functionally with Lenovo Global Logistics, Lenovo Sales, Lenovo Fulfillment, Lenovo China CIOL team, Lenovo External Customers and external Logistics Partners. \
  • Applicant must demonstrate strong project management ability. 
  • Utilizes effective strong communication skills in business unit and cross-functional teams to share information and provide recommendations as well as strong communication with external Logistics Partners. 
  • Ability to recognize logistics/supply chain problems, analyze causes and apply or develop solutions.  
  • Ability to identify root cause and implement effective action planning for pervasive issues. Develop new or improve existing logistics processes and practices.  
  • Ability to be proficient using Lenovo IOT tool such as SCI, SCCT, SAP, MS Outlook and MS Office Suite.  
  • Accountable for assignments, logistics performance and business results. Responsible for the execution of tactical and strategic plans. 
  • Ensure appropriate business controls and ethics in all business transactions.
  • Accept review of work by peers and senior supply chain professionals for effectiveness.
  • Readily collaborate and accept input from immediate and extended teams. 
  • Adapts work schedule to meet business needs.  
  • Performance measured against business Key Process Indicators including but not limited to Serviceability, Cost, Customer Satisfaction and Information of Delivery.
  • Must be willing to do light travel as required.
