Logistics Specialist
The Lenovo Service Parts Services AP Logistics role is a critical member of the Lenovo Services & technical support team. The Lenovo Services AP Logistics role is responsible for managing domestic logistics and DC operations as well as coordinating with the international logistics focal to ensure parts are delivered on time to our facilities and our customers.You will:
- Monitor and manage the performance of local logistics vendors for same-day and next-day delivery service.
- Manage the critical delivery for 2hrs and 4hrs deliveries.
- Monitor and manage the performance of distribution centers.
- Resolve international logistics and custom clearance delays.
- Communicate directly with vendors to resolve any order delays along with any IT issues.
- Report performance trends and actions for continuous improvement to reduce and avoid lead times.
- Manage inventory accuracy and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Analyse routing parameters to improve/enhance optimization as deemed necessary.
- Logistics and warehouse operational spend reporting.
Your Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree or related discipline in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Logistics knowledge and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Experience with same-day logistics preferred.
- Minimum two years of working experience in supply chain-related positions.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities and familiarity with excel & PPT, SAP experience is preferred;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment;
- Must be a team worker with good interpersonal skills.
