Position Description

Lenovo is looking for an Inside Sales Manager Public Sector (m/f/d). The manager of the Public Inside Sales team is responsible for managing the total customer set especially on administrative and planning tasks. He/She is in strong alignment with the F2F manager and has clear vision of LENOVO unit strategies and understands where LENOVO can impact, enhance and complement customers' businesses. Besides the Inside Sales Manager provides guidance and counsel to the managed team of Inside Sales Account Manager and is reporting to Director Enterprise & Public Sector. 

Following are the primary roles/responsibilities of the Inside Sales Manager Public Sector: 
• Manages, leads and encourages the aligned team 
• Supports the customer relationships, primarily through the F2F Sales 
• Maintains relationship to involved business partners 
• Supports cluster planning process and public specific requirements in RFPs (account planning, opportunity identification) 
• Full Profit and loss Responsibility of aligned departments 
• Responsibility for demand planning, outlook forecast planning and taking care of the reporting in appropriate tools 
• Responsibility for customer satisfaction, by fulfilling agreed SLAs and secure that the team is responsive 

Position Requirements

• Deep knowledge of sales 
• Leads by example, set clear performance standards, provide straightforward feedback in a respectful way, and actively manage low contributors 
• Recognizes outstanding contributions by employees and teams 
• Ensures a positive performance climate, listen to employees, address their issues and help employees succeed in LENOVO's matrix environment 
• Fosters teamwork and inclusion among all employees - across locations 
• Encourages employees to be innovative, and support ideas that should be implemented
• Continuously develops the employees to build a strong team: set clear development plans and goals 
• Applies comprehensive understanding of sales processes and sales management techniques 
• Demonstrates the ability to build the organization's long-term capability to produce and sustain excellent results 
• Demonstrates a professional knowledge of business acumen, including an understanding of the customers' business, industry, economic trends, issues and competition in a global view especially in the public sector 
• Understands LENOVO strategies, offerings and technologies 
• Fluent in German and English
