Manager of Web Product Data Mgmt. & Ops, Global Web Services, Lenovo.com
The Global Web Services department under Lenovo.com global is looking for a professional with team-oriented, dynamic and highly motivated person to drive and enhance the web product data, platforms management; project management and web Ops for Lenovo.com.
As a people manager, this role will manage & lead a team with project manager, web product data specialist, and operations specialist, taking the ownership of multi projects/initiatives and collaborating across Lenovo global eCommerce organization, variant Lenovo BUs to achieve global, Geo, Region tactical & strategic goals. This role is responsible for Lenovo global eCommerce project management & deployment, web products announcements, eComm campaign & promotions supporting, trouble shooting, platforms management and web operations.
In line with the Lenovo eComm business grows, this role also requires the capability in-house initiatives continuously; develops a strong diverse team to drive the excellent operations & collaboration in-and-out Lenovo global eComm organization. This role will be working in a fast-paced, cross-function, global diverse environments, excellent communication, collaboration skills will be expected. Project management, executive presentation, operations skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage & lead a team (size to 7) consisting of project manager, web product data specialist, web operations specialist to achieve the excellence of web product lifecycle mgmt. and web operations
- Manage & coordinate with eCommerce global stakeholders, Geo business owners, BT/IT for tactical & strategic initiatives for the goals of WW, Geos initiatives
- Achieve global operational excellence and process improvements in terms global web services (cross-Geo) BMS management & execution, define the road-map, process to drive the global standardization & scalability
- Drive & support eComm initiatives in route expansion, customer expansion & portfolio expansion
- Manage & foresee the daily web operations & problems management, in addition with on-going platform improvements (major releases, service packages, hot fix…etc.)
- Establish & drive the governance of Lenovo.com global web product data management, streamline the execution via the key features released
- In addition, this role manages & foresees the overall department budget, expense & Ops for a 50-size department in Beijing; Opportunity to enlarge the scope to a 120-size global organization
- As a people manager to develop employees and skill sets to drive & expand the team capabilities, scalabilities & create & provide growth opportunities for feature leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree & above; eComm Ops and web development projects background as a plus
- 5 years and above working experience; 2 - 3 years working experience as people manager preferred
- Strong candidates may come from a background in operations & project management in multinational companies
- Proven strong leadership; ability to manage, multiple, complex projects simultaneously and to meet aggressive schedules
- Strong Communicator, good written, oral and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrates independent, proactive thinking
- Demonstrates flexibility for ad-hoc assignments
- Ability to work effectively with wide range of individuals across a diverse and global community in multiple time zones
