We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new products and processes, as well as ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards. To be successful as a Manufacturing Engineer you should be able to work effectively within a team and have a high level of technical expertise. An outstanding Manufacturing Engineer should be able to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

In this role you will:

* Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement
* Determine problem resolutions and implementing improvements
* Develop detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
* Research and developing new processes, equipment, and products
* Develop and implement cost-saving measures and quality control systems
* Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations
* Establish and improve Engineering change/BOM release process
* New product BOM/data readiness tracking
* Maintain operational research and activity documentation and preparing reports

Organization
You will be reporting to Engineering Manager.

Position Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years working experience on engineering role in a large corporate manufacturing plant
* Bachelor’s degree or above, computer science or engineering background education is preferred
* Be familiar with the manufacturing engineering processes, be able to lead and manage changes
* Knowledge of computer design and engineering software
* Experience with project management and planning
* Good English and communication & interpersonal skills
* Be proactive, willing to help others
* Be familiar with SAP, Outlook and office IT tools
* Have some cognizance of Lean, Six Sigma and Project Mgmt.
