Description and Requirements

Lenovo's Mobile Workstations are fusing the portability of a laptop and the performance of a workstation while also maintaining ISV-certification for all major applications. With lightning-fast graphics and processing, and the latest cutting-edge technology, they can handle compute-intensive needs even in surprisingly light packages.

Lenovo is hiring a Product Marketing Manager to drive all aspects of product management / marketing globally for our Performance Mobile Workstations.  This role will also be responsible for product revenue, costs and profit margin as well as achieving growth targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to help bring new requirements into the business
  • Work closely with the Workstation segment leads to help define the next generation of products
  • Work with geographies on volume planning/forecasting as well as aiding in product enablement
  • Provide product-level education to geography product and sales teams
  • Interacting with cross functional areas to bring product to market
  • Market message creation, product positioning, sales enablement pricing and competitive analysis by geography
  • Product life cycle management (cradle to grave) including launch planning and execution for a global market.
  • Develop sales tools and assist in geography marketing and promotional programs
We are ideally looking for this role to be based in our NA HQ in Raleigh, NC where we currently work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote).  We are open to this role being fully remote but candidates within eastern time zone are preferred.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in marketing management and/or sales enablement
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Strong virtual team and extensive cross-group coordination/collaboration and very strong communication and partnership skills.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, customer orientation, open & effective communication.
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills required
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course and make tough decisions
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.  English required.
  • Critical Thinking and problem analyzing and solving skills - Ability to respond quickly to multiple issues

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • External partner relationship experience
  • Demonstrated successful 4P planning experience
  • 5+ years product management experience with technical products. IT hardware marketing experience highly preferred.
  • Previous responsibility for a product/product segment from inception to end of life; includes business case development, gathering market requirements, launch planning, execution, and product performance tracking at all levels.
  • 3+ years product marketing experience in a global capacity highly preferred.
  • Analysis of market trends, customer segments and requirements, and competitive landscape to establish product positioning, pricing and delivery strategies
  • Previous technical sales experience or customer facing roles is highly desirable
