About Us

Motorola’s Integrated Marketing team is seeking an intern for Summer 2024. This team is responsible for: 

  • Developing the Motorola marketing strategy to align with the overall business goals while ensuring execution is on-time and on-budget

  • Building brand awareness, consideration and preference. 

  • Delivering cohesive marketing communications with operational excellence

  • Measuring and reporting the successes of multiple areas of the marketing

  • Helping the team make strategic and data driven decisions to achieve our goals


About You

You have a keen interest in data, reporting and drawing conclusions.

You are organized, diligent and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.  You are the type of person that takes initiative, exudes a positive attitude and willingness to help the team!


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting deep dives into marketing performance data, market research, customer insights, and looks for connections that will help to guide decision making on marketing and branding strategy

  • Understanding how different variables impact performance of marketing activities and makes recommendations for changes to strategic direction

  • Interfacing with various internal teams (Paid media, social media, CRM, partnerships, trade marketing and more)

  • Identifying KPIs to measure and manage marketing initiatives performance

  • Performing regularly scheduled and ad-hoc strategic analysis regarding North America market and products by leveraging performance and sales data

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree Area: Business/Data analytics, Economics, Management information systems, Data analytics 


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, including the use of if statements, index/match, pivot tables, and other advanced logic functions

  • Comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines

  • Strong slide-building and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides)

  • Quick learner with the ability to solve problems independently or with little guidance

  • Strong communication skills to work across teams and manage initiatives

  • Ability to craft a story leveraging data and analysis and present recommendations to both technical and non-technical audience

  • Interested in Technology or Telecommunications

  • Experience using data visualization tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI
