You’ll be part of an extremely versatile team of Technical Support Engineers and Leads whom help drive excellence service to our clients and customers. As a Storage Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing support to enterprise customers, using DE and DM storage products under Lenovo’s portfolio, in isolating, diagnosing, reproducing, and fixing technical issues promptly. To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated self-starter and self-learner, possess strong customer service and technical problem-solving skills; and be someone who embraces challenges. You will also need to possess the ability to perform and manage storage installations with a variety of software such as Block, File, Object Storage, and Page (NVMe). As the storage expert, you will take a leadership role to ensure solutions are of the highest quality and are developed using secure programming practices. This engineering position is a key player on the World-Wide Contact Center 24x7x4 support team.

Basic Requirements

  • Supporting and understanding NETAPP DE/DM is a Must
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience supporting storage solutions
  • 4+ years of experience managing storage installations including multipath drivers
  • 4+ years working with End customers, Partners, Field Engineers, and Service support personnel
  • Professional interpersonal communication and customer service skills to be able to successfully assist customers in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Storage Experience with Block, File, Object Storage, and Page (NVMe)
  • Experience with DAS (Direct Attached Storage), Storage Area Network (SAN), and Network Access Storage (NAS) systems
  • Experience with Storage OS functions
  • Setting up and Managing Volumes, LUNs, and groups
  • High availability Pairs and failover
  • Experience with Raid and DDP groups
  • Topology Management (experience installing, using, and debugging)
  • SAS-SCSI  (Raid /SAS HBA)
  • CIFS, iSCSI, and NFS use and debugging
  • Experience in writing documentation, and procedures


  • Rotating shifts possible
  • Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage when required
