North America Solutions and Services Group (SSG) Business Development Manager

Our Solutions and Services Group (SSG) plays a vital role in driving accelerated revenue growth through a wide range of offerings and solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as the North America SSG Business Development Manager.
As the North America SSG Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Services revenue across all customer segments/verticals and routes to market. You will collaborate closely with the Services sales team and ISO sellers, providing them with in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio, Lenovo's value proposition, and the various marketing plays and promotions within the North America geography. Your strategic insights and execution capabilities will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and fostering strong customer loyalty and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and inspire your team and colleagues, establishing credibility throughout the organization. Motivate individuals to outperform against targets and drive overall team success.
- Talent/Organization Development: Build a high-performance team by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Nurture their growth to achieve strategic growth objectives.
- Customer Experience: Understand and meet customer needs while aligning them with business objectives. Foster strong customer relationships by exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Execution: Drive the execution of sales enablement initiatives, including the development of tools, processes, and training programs. Support the successful launch of new offerings across different customer segments and routes to market. Simplify processes to enhance the ease of doing business for our sales team, customers, and partners.
- Vision and Strategy Implementation: Align team goals with the overall vision and strategy of the organization. Continuously adapt to evolving business conditions and adjust corporate direction as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and change management. Use your exceptional communication skills to influence and energize others to drive positive change within the organization.
- Market Analysis and Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of market conditions, customer requirements, and competitor solutions. Identify opportunities for differentiation, address unmet needs, and disrupt the market. Build comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including plays, promotions, and campaigns across each customer segment and route to market.
Basic Requirements:
- Data center experience.
- Experience in sales, sales management, sales operations, product management, or marketing.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in sales, sales management, sales operations, product management, or marketing.
- Services experience highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work effectively with senior North America business leaders.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, fostering cross-functional teamwork.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high self-motivation and drive.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and identify creative solutions to challenges.

The base salary range for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $160k - $200k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
