Description and Requirements

The North America Solutions & Services Program Manager will analyze the Solution & Services industry verticals to identify vertical-focused opportunities for solution investments to drive non-core PC growth in North America (NA). They will collaborate with Lenovo sales segments and other key product, business management and enablement teams to build out, evangelize and support the adoption of Lenovo solutions through targeted market opportunity insights, while tracking and reporting business results and predictive insights to define success.


Fully understand the key market verticals for the Lenovo targeted solutions & services industry.  Develop understanding of Lenovo IDG, ISG and SSG Solution portfolio to then develop vertical, and cross brand market opportunity assessments.

  • Analyze customer data and build analytical models for solving high-value business problems relevant to revenue and profit optimization.
  •  Apply data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and build high quality prediction to guide Relationship market strategies.
  •  Analyze the Total Addressable market (TAM) & Competitive market for each vertical segment and solution focus area, utilizing all available resources, partnerships and institutional knowledge.
  • Utilize segmentation analysis to create sub-segments for market verticals by key dimensions to drive the attack sub-segment strategies the with the most appropriate solution(e.g.,  architectural or design firms that run applications X, Y or Z are best candidate for AR/VR solutions).
  • Engage closely with Services & Solutions BU and NA Business & product managers to guide them in the dynamics of North America’s key market verticals and what we need from products, options or SW to address these segments.
  • Identify key competitors in each segment and sub-segment and identify differential positions/price value equations for North America.
  • Lead the recommendation and formation of vertical solution specific customer advisory councils
  • Identify and leverage key market vertical industry groups to align with (ISV user groups, industry lobbying organizations, Social & Market influencers. Identify key NA or WW solution partnerships providing to WW Solution teams.
  • Develop recommended attack plans for each solution by customer & vertical sub-segment.
  • Partner with marketing to develop sales enablement (training, collateral, configuration recommendations, etc.) for REL sales and channel partners.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related engineering or analytical sciences field 
  • Strong analytical & data science skills
  • Deep understanding of data mapping/data science driven approaches
  • Familiarity with leading data analytics solutions (open source or other)
  • Strong project management capabilities, business acumen, and experience working closely with a sales team, product & business management
  • Excellent organizational skills to develop, maintain and track multiple solution areas simultaneously
  • Must be a confident, self-starter and able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization structure, collaborating with other resources as required to advance the solution
  • Creativity and the willingness to learn and teach, utilizing best practices to deliver the most creative, effective solutions possible
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills, with an ability to communicate both to executive leadership as well as customer-facing sales teams, peers, and customers.
  • Previous Lenovo internship experience highly desired
