Description and Requirements

You will be responsible for influencing carriers, up to the VP level, driving carrier certification activities, and managing customer expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for influencing technical specifications with carriers for Lenovo’s various product lines and enhancing Lenovo’s relationships with both new and existing mobile operators. Manage carrier certification activities from project kickoff through EOL. Be the single technical point of contact for mobile operators. Act as the voice of the customer to the development team and drive issue resolution. Be the mobile operator requirements expert. Utilize strong negotiation skills to obtain testing and/or requirement waivers, that prevent a device from shipping. Manage Lenovo’s responses to open issues in a mobile operator's defect system. Support the execution of carrier field and system testing activities. Oversee Lenovo’s response to internal carrier user trials needed to obtain technical acceptance. Manage the allocation of HW and SW to mobile operators.

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience 5+ years’ experience working with mobile operators
* Experience operating with flexibility in a fast-paced, always-on, constantly evolving, and collaborative environment
* Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
* Demonstrated success in creating win-win partnerships and establishing long lasting relationships
* Excellent organization and planning skills
* Experience working cross-functionally with various levels of management, both internally and externally to Lenovo
