Description and Requirements

The candidate for this position has high experience with x86 Servers Hardware and the architecture of computers. Also, he/she is qualified to perform project management tasks in a Manufacturing Environment and well understanding of the New Product Introduction lifecycle.

Main duties and responsibilities:

* Develop and drive Lenovo Manufacturing strategic initiatives to support the continued growth and success of new product introduction of x86 servers/rack manufacturing in MTY plant.

* Prepare and align local and global teams on the NPI life cycle and Manufacturing Engineering preparation before massive production.

* Validate incoming material and be the driver among raw material purchase process, incoming NPI orders, and Engineering changes/designs/processes in Manufacturing.

* Coordinate manufacturing support to enable ASM, Test, PKG effectively during NPI lifecycle

* Follow up on issues/findings during NPI and provide solutions to the end-to-end manufacturing processes.

* Act as the focal point for x86 servers/rack, leading engineering groups in order to accomplish project schedules, goals, and quality commitments on time.
