Who You'll Work With
Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Manufacturing Design, Engineering & CAD, Animation/Media/Web Creation, Science/Medical, Oil & Gas, and Finance.
To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are seeking to enhance our team with a Network / Storage Architect. Responsibilities include innovative design, development, and validation of workstation network and storage solutions. These HW solutions range from on-motherboard to add-in card solutions.
What You'll Do
For this role you will be working with a combination of HW/SW architects to formulate network and storage solutions that provide optimal performance while managing cost and design constraints.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years experience with network and storage HW devices and SW protocols
- PC architecture, storage architecture, network architecture
- Storage technology and form factors
- Windows OS driver interoperability
- Linux OS driver interoperability (Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu)
- RAID storage protocols and configuration
- Working knowledge of LAN/Wireless LAN/WAN standards (802.3, 802.11)
- Results oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Technical support for internal customers
- Positive professional attitude with flexibility
Preferred Requirements
- Working knowledge of client remote management such as DASH, vPRO, BMC
- Executing and analyzing storage and network performance benchmarks
