Description and Requirements

As an OEM Solution Marketplace Specialist for Lenovo, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering net new accounts to join Lenovo's Solution Marketplace. This will include working with ISVs, MSPs, CSPs and solution providers to see the value in hosting their offerings on our marketplace and help identify target markets to pursue together. The overall goal is to get an industry diverse set of offerings that are Lenovo unique and lead us into a potential OEM relationship with these outside firms.


This is a partner facing sales role requiring industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close net new business. We are looking for a successful inside or hybrid salesperson with a successful and proven track record to take their career, the territory and our clients to the next level.

 

• Identify and Build partnerships with with new and existing partners.

  • Develop industry strategies for these solutions
  • Work with the partners on go-to-market strategies
  • Take guidance from the Solutions and Services Group
  • Owns ongoing analysis of metrics & business performance to produce weekly reports or as required


• Experience in cold-calling important in order to identify and pursue new acquisition opportunities 

 • Maintains competitor analysis to identify business opportunities, provide insightful & actionable outputs across products, markets & competitors - includes product positioning & SWOT analysis.

 • Delivers Subject Matter Expert support to sales & marketing teams, on both technology & products. Provides monthly / quarterly road map updates to relevant extended teams.

 

Minimum Requirements:             

• 3+ years business development, or sales / marketing experience in the IT industry (software and hardware)

• Existing knowledge and relationship within the targeted Industry and Customers to accelerate penetration

• Negotiation and communication skills
