Description and Requirements

The One Channel Leader is responsible for driving Lenovo Greater Asia Pacific’s overall channel strategy, encompassing the full Lenovo portfolio, including products, services, and solutions. With your strategic vision, you will define and lead the execution of Lenovo’s go-to-market approach across all partner segments—distributors, resellers, and emerging channels. You will strengthen and expand partner ecosystems, foster high-impact relationships, and enable channel partners to succeed through comprehensive sales enablement and education programs. This role is key in steering the team through evolving industry dynamics and in shaping an optimal, future-ready channel landscape that aligns with Lenovo’s growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and coaching to your team in successful account management during the transformation from traditional sales to platform and as-a-service sales.
  • Build an effective team and own talent development.
  • Drive in-house shares at distribution in all lines of business.
  • Articulate Lenovo’s 360 value proposition and how it translates into the Lenovo Partner Program.
  • Accelerate One Channel capability and coverage across all Greater Asia Pacific markets by enhancing and deepening large SI and GSI partnerships, focused on infrastructure business.
  • Broaden Partner coverage around specific Partner service delivery capabilities to allow selling of Lenovo Vertical Solution and AI Solution portfolios in all markets.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain relationships with distributors across all levels, including country management.
  • Work in close partnership with Lenovo category function to deliver SMB P&L outcomes for all markets, including core focus on profit outcomes.
  • Play an active key role in managing GTN programs and spend to drive consistency and value, and improve efficiency in spend to support strong profit outcomes.
  • Utilize data and analytics across the distribution landscape to define new success metrics and adapt the business as needed.
  • Lead the Channel Enablement initiatives to ensure efficient and effective product and service launches into the channel.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in channel management and sales strategy.
  • Proven track record of managing distribution relationships and driving sales enablement.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and partner effectively within a global organization.
  • Good analytical skills and knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Advanced organization and time management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Ability to lead a team through industry changes and transformations.
  • Familiarity with the Channel Readiness Checklist and its application across business groups and geos.
