Description and Requirements

This role is an entry level, graduate role available for a candidate that is keen to enter the IT industry. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop skills and understanding of the distribution landscape, with the ability to grow the role going forward. With enthusiasm and organisational skills being key to success, personality will be a big plus, as this face-to-face role with two of our key customers, is pivotal in Lenovo’s relationships and success.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within distribution partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day communication between the company and distribution partners.
  • Regularly communicate with distributors to understand their needs, challenges, and feedback.

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for penetrating new markets and increasing market share through distribution channels.

Sales Support:

  • Organise training and provide support to distribution partners to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the product or service being offered.
  • Assist partners in developing sales and marketing strategies to effectively promote and sell the products or services, while leveraging the internal resources.
  • Work closely with partners and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns they may have related to sales or distribution.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Monitor the performance of distribution partners against set targets and KPIs.
  • Provide regular reporting to management on the performance of distribution partners and the overall distribution channel.

Strategic Planning:

  • Implement strategic plans to optimize the distribution channel and maximize sales.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the distribution channel.

Problem Solving:

  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the distribution channel in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as customer service, logistics, and marketing, to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

Product and Market Knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products or services, as well as the target market.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings.
  • Share relevant market and product insights with distribution partners to help them better position and sell the products or services.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the budget allocated for distribution marketing activities, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Monitor expenses related to distribution activities and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Role requirement
