General Manager in Indonesia supporting Global Supply Chain Operation. Experienced professional resident in Indonesia supporting region operations team to achieve best in class results on Cost, Quality, Delivery and Customer satisfaction.
Interaction with worldwide cross-functional teams around the Globe (China, Brazil,India, USA, Argentina as an example). Mandatory leading skills to manage factory with CM – Contract Manufacturing - and a Supply Chain Core team reporting to this role.
Proved experience to lead the business together with core functions like Business Operation and Sales Team, as well as with Procurement, Suppliers, Planning, Finance, Logistics, ODMs, R&D teams.
Ability to lead with government authorities in all aspects of the business and legislation in India to ensure smooth and on-time benefits, compliance, and all company obligation in the Country.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead a Supply Chain Core team, operating with CM, managing Planning, Engineering, Quality, New Product Introduction, Finance and Logistics.
2. People Management in all aspects, professional and personal. Assure a well-balanced environment in the workplace to achieve highest level of employee satisfaction.
3. Manage all aspects of the relations with the factory CM, responsible for definition of all business targets (KPIs – key performance indicators) and manage the results.
4. Responsible for all aspects of the business, Cost (Material, Logistics, Manufacturing Value Add, Scrap, Cycle count, Inventory level and controls). Quality (factory and after sales). Delivery (On time, on Volume, On cost). Customer Satisfaction.
5. Drive all relations with government authorities to ensure compliance and business benefits associated to company obligations.
6. Lead all aspects of ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) aspects, assure CM compliance and drive vital projects to always have our business as best in class.
7. Focus on End-to-end business view, not only in the manufacturing aspects but also, and not limited, to the relations of Supply Chain with Sales Team, Business operations, product sourcing, inventory management, field performance.
8. Huge focus on Customer Satisfaction, assure processes and KPIs that can clearly define the success and continuous improvement.
9. Responsible for all aspects of business continuity and crisis management.
10. Support in continuous improvement and optimization of the business processes for operation efficiency enhancement and cost reduction focus.
Qualification
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. 15+ years in electronics manufacturing industry (mobile phone/ tablet experience is preferred)
3. 15+ years’ experience with Multinational Companies
4. Special assignments and projects outside the Country.
5. Experience with new business start up
6. 15+ years’ experience in people management
7. Fluent English, both written and spoken
8. Sense of ownership, positive attitude towards daily executions
9. Open-minded and cooperative
10. Good communication skills, cross-function collaboration required
11. Able to work and participate in conference call in off-time with world-wide teams
