Description and Requirements

The new Sales Manager will work with a group of Business Partners and be responsible for delivering revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction with a group of Solution Providers and Value-Added Resellers. These partners are composed of a mix of our Platinum, Gold, and Silver Partners. In this role you will be responsible for driving Lenovo's relationship and transactional business as well as new business initiatives. 

What is expected of you :

  • You are a strategic thinker comfortable developing, adapting, and executing a strategic engagement plan for each partner and their overall territory. 
  • You work well in a matrixed environment with peers in sales, product development, marketing, services, and supply chain, you are results-oriented, and driven by excellence. 
  • You understand how technology resellers operationalize their business and are able to create relationships through executive-level engagements. 
  • You will develop strategies to help the Business Partner grow their strategic business initiatives with Lenovo sales, as well as communicate and understand the return on investment and industry trends. 
  • You have a strong understanding of reseller programs and incentives is required. 
  • You have creative thinking and the ability to create short and long-term business plans to drive business are necessary. 
  • You must be able to position the Lenovo products and channel value proposition. 
  • You must thrive in a dynamic and velocity-driven environment.   


  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in business development / sales manager role in the IT industry 
  • Proven track record in sales of volume products (preferably PC’s) 
  • Commitment & action oriented 
  • Track of record in building and executing business development plans 
  • Extensive experience with channel partners, service providers, or end customer dynamics in a technology environment 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior understanding of key country Corporate IT market 
  • Results driven and team player with Strong Presentation Skills
