Description and Requirements

We are looking for a number of students to learn a professional role within our industry, we take pride in having successful individuals in our technical business with a wide offering of skills and attributes, we are also keen to develop and retain the successful students for the future.

We will have a number of 12-month placement opportunities within our Sales business, in areas such as;
• Consumer Sales
• Enterprise and Public Sector Sales
• Channel Sales
• Acquisition Sales

As a Sales Associate you will have a key role in supporting the entire sales process and team, with the opportunity to gain true insight to the full sales cycle.


Position Overview
•Managing the Lenovo Sales UK email inbox
•Constant communication with distribution and business partners regarding product knowledge, stock availability, setting up bid pricing, and closing deals
•Creating focus SKUs, managing aged stock, support for 4P
•Managing Bootstock (equipment that is loaned to externals to support future opportunities)
•Managing the relationship between us and our loan evaluation company to ensure end-users get loan units and consequently return them on time
•Assisting with marketing activity to help prepare and execute shows for business partners
•Supporting the rest of the sales team with whatever requests they may have
•Representing Lenovo at a series of exhibitions where we will promote Lenovo to business partners and customers
•Bid creation and CTO creation of machines to customer specifications.

Minimum Requirements
•On course to achieve at least a 2:1 degree classification
•Undertaking a placement as part of your degree

This role will start in July/Aug 2022 and is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
