Description and Requirements

Lenovo is adding a contract recruiter to our University Recruiting team to handle a wide variety of recruiting and sourcing responsibilities for our North American workforce (headquartered in Morrisville, NC). The University Recruiting Specialist will work with the NA Talent Acquisition team on all aspects of hiring from recruitment strategy, sourcing, candidate selection, diversity recruiting, referral campaigns, social media, employment branding and other creative sourcing techniques. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR/Recruiting professional looking to build their recruiting program design and management experience and contribute to a top recruiting team with a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities include:

• Proactively source top university candidates via campus postings, recruiting events, social media, employee referrals, headhunting techniques and other creative methods.
• Build Lenovo’s pipeline of top talent from diverse backgrounds to support our mission to build a diverse and inclusive population and work culture.
• Run sourcing campaigns inside via Lenovo employee referral programs and outside via external partnerships to attract and engage with competitive universities and candidates.
• Program Manage hiring projects
• Work with the NA Talent Acquisition organization to help drive best practices
• Utilize Applicant Tracking System to process, track & hire candidates
• Develop and maintain reporting and metrics for candidate pipelines and recruiting programs
• Make sure all Lenovo hiring practices remain compliant with OFCCP guidelines

Mandatory Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-3 years of university or diversity recruiting experience 

Preferred Requirements:

• Program management or university program development
• Experience with diversity talent organizations (i.e. SHPE, HBCUs)
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
• Well organized with strong attention to detail
