Description and Requirements

Role description

Working at the heart of the most significant technology strategy planning and development in Lenovo Research, we are recruiting people with passion about technologies and thrive at the environment where curiosity and learnings are basic requirements. Working with other researchers across almost all major technologies, these teams provide the bridge between strategies and technology, advising and delivering technology strategies to the leadership team at both Lenovo Research level and Corporate level.

As a key member of the technology Strategy team, this role would analyze technology advancements, observe innovation trends and identify future strategy plans. Assist leadership team to develop technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with and supports their key business priorities.

Requirements

  • Holds a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. PhD preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Candidates require a combination of management, consultancy, project delivery and technical skills. You will be expected to demonstrate that you have experience of working with wide spectrum of technologies and able to quickly learn new topics and develop strategic thoughts around them.
  • A background working with Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, big data experiences or system architecture components, such as networking and software, is needed.
  • In addition to strong technical skills, you will also need strong soft skills. Excellent collaborative skills will allow you to work with personnel across disciplines.
  • Strong analytical reasoning is needed to effectively look at the strengths and weaknesses of projects.
