Description and Requirements

Overview & Objectives: 

  • As a member of the Lenovo SSG Marketing team, responsibilities will include budget management, activity submission and approval through partner funding portal, and assisting the Alliances team with procurement and vendor management.  
  • Strong project management, budget management and organizational skills.  
  • Partner relations is a must along with an aptitude for marketing activations.  
  • Manage MDF processes not limited to: Partner Pitch calls (MAP/NVIDIA); MDF portal submissions of Program approvals, Prove of Execution, claims and invoices 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Part of the Alliances function within SSG Partner Marketing, this person will coordinate and manage projects and MDF budgets to scale SSG Marketing capabilities.  
  • As Marketing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for Alliance Partner activity pre-approval and claim submissions 
  • Activity pre-approval entries - Engage with key stakeholders to gather pre-approval plans and submit into alliance partner portals or tracker process per plan deadlines  
  • Activity claim entries - Engage with key stakeholders to gather POE for approved plans and submit into alliance partner portals or tracker process per claim deadlines 
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners (i.e. NVIDIA, Intel, Microsoft) to drive mutual growth and success. 
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on partnership performance, including key metrics and insights, to senior management. 
  • Purchase Request (PR) creation: Raise MDF Purchase Request (PR) for approved MDF activities via designated budget/procurement tools; Coordinate and submit Campaign and PR MDF templates for stakeholder via Anaplan process Multi alliance partner MDF T&Cs  
  • Thorough understanding of alliance partner guidelines (including eligible execution activities) and branding requirements to aid users 

Key Success Metrics:

  • Alliances MDF Execution and reimbursement  
  • Successful Partner funds management (cancelation rate, claim deadlines) 
  • Balanced MDF budgets ($ consumption) 

Interfaces with internal and external cross-functional teams:

  • Primary Stakeholders: Alliances SSG Leaders; Partners direct teams (MDF operations / Partner Marketing teams);  
  • Program Owners: SSG stakeholders utilizing partner MDF, responsible to execute budget, open PRs and provide POE for MDF Ops processes  
  • Corporate Finance and Alliances Ops: Claiming and reimbursement  
  • Geo SSG Marketing / GTM leaders 

Position Requirements:

  • Advance Level of English
  • Budget Management and Tracking experience (Required)  
  • Project Management experience (Required)  
  • Vendor Management experience (Required)  
  • Execution and Measurement of KPIs experience (Required)  
  • Partner marketing or partner relationship experience (preferred)  
  • Outstanding organizational skills and extremely detail oriented  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  and self-driven with strong time management skills  
  • Excellent MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and analytical skills
