Description and Requirements
This engineering role is a key component of Lenovo's new product introduction within the ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group) development team. Engineer in this role will be in charge of validating and tuning new server products’ NIC (Network Interface Card) performance and expected to work closely with the performance benchmarking team to optimize server performance to achieve World Record performance benchmarks.
Lenovo SPV (System Performance Validation) engineers will be responsible for measure and document the performance of new CPU SKUs and supported Memory options. The results from these validation activities are used to by the benchmark team and leveraged by the marketing and sales team to position the new product based on price and performance. Individuals in this role is expected to provide support for pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements when server performance expertise needed.
Job requirement :- 2+ years of directly related hardware engineering experience
- Familiarity with RJ45 , Fibre Optic, Infiniti band, LOMOptional Skills:
- experience of using network performance counters such at IPERF and NETPERF
