Description and Requirements

This position is part of the Global eCommerce User Experience (UX) Team. We are currently seeking a Personalization solution architect of eCommerce Personalization experienced in delivering outstanding eCommerce experience. This person will be responsible for developing the personalization projects for globally.   


Primary Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with Lenovo IT team and subject matter experts to integrate our personalization solution with the broader ecosystem. 

  • AssistPersonalization technical architecture strategy and initiatives that can span multiple Agile Release Trains. 

  • Configure, administer, and operate Adobe Target to build multi-channel campaigns on the eCommerce portal. 

  • Provide deep knowledge expertise in working knowledge of at least one other Adobe Marketing Cloud products (Target, Analytics, Audience Manager, AEP, CJA) 

  • Assess and audit the current state of platform configuration and accelerate remediation plans. 

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions that support marketing analytics, customer segmentation, campaign management, and personalization initiatives. 

  • Provide strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate product team meetings effectively and to deliver constructive feedback to development teams 

  • Mentor other senior personalization developers and participate in code reviews. Assist in resolving technical roadblocks. 

  • Identifies opportunities to leverage common solutions for cross-cutting complex functionality at the program and/or enterprise level. 

  • Partner with key stakeholders to establish and adopt architectural best practices, guidelines, and standards. 

  • Partner with product managers and engineers to prototype cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning and test them with production data. 

  • Define the platform architecture, technology strategy, and implementation standards. 

  • Document architectural decisions, designs, and requirements in a clear and concise manner. Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and other artifacts to facilitate understanding and communication among stakeholders. 

  • Familiar with software development methodologies Agile/Scrum/Kanban and understanding of enterprise project lifecycle. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related study, or equivalent experience 

  • 8+ years of experience in Personalization and Marketing Technology engineering with software architecture experience. 

  • 4+ years of experience in the following platforms: Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Audience Manager 

  • Experience with headless CMS implementation, preferably with eCommerce 

  • Experience integrating personalization and A/B testing into the end user experience through a server API 

  • Experience in multiple front-end web technologies including: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6, React.js, and Vue.js 

  • Experience with one or more back-end or server-side technologies including: SOAP/REST, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Microservices 

  • Experience configuring API integration connecting MarTech platforms 

  • Experience in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) 

  • Experience in application architecture / enterprise architecture, systems integration and development, and package implementation with knowledge of interactive design 

  • Understanding of digital retail operations (marketing channels, targeting and personalization, digital merchandising, site production) 

  • Strong understanding of the Marketing Technology landscape and the ability to articulate and navigate the breadth of solutions and partners in this field. 

  • Demonstrated the ability to work in a global environment with matrix organizational management. 

  • Exposure to user experience design and best practices 

  • Experience and proficiency with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies.
