What You’ll Do: Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking a Storage Software Architect in our software and solutions development organization, a global team of more than 400 professionals. This role will drive technical due diligence to review the overall system’s architecture, core, and artifacts to build a business perspective of the quality, maintainability, and ease of integration of a software investment opportunity. This is an unique role where the person will be driving feasibility analysis around a system’s architecture and technical landscape to expand Lenovo’s core capabilities from a software-solutions standpoint.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate approaches and integration points of future investments
- Evaluate quality of code bases
- Evaluate future integration opportunities
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 20+ years in software development engineering in storage and or file system engineering
- Experience in low level storage, architecture, and design
- Understanding of file system architecture, on disk structures and API approaches.
- Understanding of advanced cloud and on-prem storage infrastructures and products, preferably with involvement in creation, design and implementation
- 10+ years’ experience leading projects in a software organization
- Prior experience with technical due diligence
