Description and Requirements

  • Lead solution design and technical architecture across core ServiceNow domains including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HAM/SAM, and SecOps.
  • Collaborate with offering and service delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility, delivery alignment, and reusability.
  • Translate client scenarios into actionable technical blueprints and reusable architecture models.
  • Experience in integration and Service Portal is MUST to have for this role
  • Conduct code reviews, validate configuration approaches, and enforce platform best practices across global delivery teams.
  • Define and maintain technical design standards, security protocols, and performance optimization practices for ServiceNow implementations.
  • Serve as a lead member of the technical governance board, reviewing high-impact changes and architecture decisions.
  • Mentor and train architects, developers, and technical leads to uplift capability and delivery quality.
  • Assesses instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow Health Scan
  • Oversee platform operations like instance cloning and version upgrade.

Required Qualification:

  • 8–12 years of ServiceNow experience, including 3+ years in architecture or solution leadership roles
  • Strong hands-on knowledge across ITSM, ITOM, HAM/SAM, and Security Operations (SecOps)
  • Proven ability to lead solution design workshops, build technical blueprints, and translate business needs into scalable architectures
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide), REST/SOAP APIs, and CMDB/data modeling
  • Strong understanding of governance, security practices, and performance optimization within ServiceNow
  • Experience participating in or leading technical governance boards or design authorities

Certifications:

  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Minimum 2 domains

  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Required

  • Architect Path Certification (preferred)

  • ITIL v4 Foundation – Preferred

  • CTA (Certified Technical Architect) – Highly desirable but not mandatory
