Description and Requirements

Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is addressing the $100 Billion+ worldwide market of enterprise products including server, networking, storage and enterprise solutions. The ISG Server business unit is responsible for product portfolio planning, product definition, product go-to-market plan, product launch activities as well as full lifecycle ownership of the servers and options.

Responsibilities:

  • Define marketing requirements from key stakeholder input, and participate in execution through the operations process for each solution release.
  • Develop a solid understanding of Lenovo’s AI infrastructure solutions and value propositions.
  • Maintain detailed and high-level roadmaps to help guide the sales team on future opportunities.
  • Develop seller enablement collateral for Lenovo Sellers and participate in sales enablement activities.
  • Assist with technical product marketing activity including event support, and technical resources to support customer briefings.
  • Participate in industry events and customer meetings as needed.

Position Duties:

The GPU and Accelerator Product Manager will report to Director of DCI product marketing with responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Own the GPU and Accelerator portfolio including market analysis, definition of features, product positioning, value proposition, and setting/achieving financial objectives;

    • Define marketing requirements from key stakeholder input, and participate in execution through the operations process for each solution release.

    • Develop a solid understanding of Lenovo’s AI infrastructure solutions and value propositions and how this role helps drive Lenovo's "AI for All" initiative.

    • Drive end to end product management execution from concept phase to plan, development, worldwide product launch, sustaining and EOL.

    • Represent DCI business unit as member of various GPU portfolio management teams (located in global locations) to achieve time, cost, product feature & innovation objectives.

    • Maintain detailed and high-level roadmaps to help guide the sales team on future opportunities.

    • Work closely with technology vendors to understand technology trends, product roadmaps, as well as planning go-to-market/demand gen activities (including MDF).

    • Provide product communications to worldwide geographies’ teams as well develop seller enablement collateral for Lenovo Sellers and participate in sales enablement activities.

    • Assist with technical product marketing activity including event support, and technical resources to support customer briefings. Participate in industry events and customer meetings as needed.

  • Own various business management activities across the server business

    • Preparation, analysis, and delivery of regular operational reports on WW business goal obtainment for Options Segment

    • Support Server GM with development of business indicators through collaboration with the various server segments

  • Possibility to take over management of other options portfolios over time as changes demand

Basic Requirements:

  • Education credentials should include an EE or equivalent technical undergraduate degree

  • 7+ years’ working experience in IT industry

Preferred Requirements:
  • A graduate level degree (MS or MBA) is preferred
  • Deep knowledge of x86 Server and Server Options

  •  5+ years’ experience of x86 server product management

  • Proven track record on creating enterprise products for mature & emerging market requirements at a global technology company

  • Work well in team environment with peers in product program management teams in DCG and regional product marketing teams

  • Excellent written & presentation skills in English

  • Ability to influent top management for right product investment decision, be active, work well under pressure
